Before founding Lokel, Tiffany Roesler-McGuire fueled the growth of venture-backed startups specializing in recruitment, strategic partnerships, and event production. Her work centered on nurturing thriving tech ecosystems in major cities like New York City, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Through this experience, Tiffany developed a deep understanding of how organizations, small businesses, non-profits, local governments, and communities intertwine and support each other. Tiffany's expertise has benefited innovative companies, including Peloton, Etsy, DocuSign, Tesla, Rent the Runway, The Knot, ZocDoc, Glossier, Refinery 29, DropBox, Remora Carbon and Bowery Farming.
After 20 years working in the tech industry, McGuire remains an optimist and futurist. She believes that we can solve the world's most challenging problems with innovation and local involvement. Through Lokel, McGuire is setting up a first-mover venture studio and lab to test and develop solutions that not only reduce environmental impact to zero but actively contribute to environmental restoration and enhancement. It's about creating a positive impact on the planet while ensuring food security and economic viability.
